 Our Story…

Although at first, I was a little in awe of his presence, Mickey later told my peers that I “talk too frequently”. (Don’t be worried! haha!)

 Over the next few years, we became best acquaintances. In 9th grade, he asked me to become his girlfriend. This was just two years later. The rest is history.

 We were engaged in the summer before our senior year at college. We were married two years later after our graduation from college. Our wedding took place in the summer of 2004 in our hometown near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

 We relocated to North Carolina that same summer, bought our first house and got our first jobs out of college. We knew that we were looking forward to starting our own family shortly.

 While I was a second-grade teacher I found out that I was going on to become a mom! In 2006, our youngest son was born and I became a stay-at-home mom. Following that, we experienced one loss and a second child every 2 years.

 2006: Our son who is our oldest was born (Jack) & I left my job as a 2nd-grade teacher.

 2010: Our sweet third boy (Ethan) was born.

 2012: We welcomed our baby girl (Allie Elizabeth).
